World Ag Expo spotlights agriculture

The Feb. 13-15 World Ag Expo in Tulare is expected to draw large crowds to view the newest agricultural products, from heavy-duty equipment to flying autonomous robots for fruit harvesting.
Coming off a record turnout last year, the World Ag Expo returns to the International Agri-Center in Tulare Feb. 13-15 for its 57th edition. The World Ag Expo, billed as the “Best Farm Show on Dirt,” is considered the larg- est annual outdoor agricultural tradeshow in the world. In 2023, the show greeted 108,233 at- tendees from 49 states and 56 countries, and a similar turnout is expected this year.

Gary Thompson, co-founder of GUSS Automation, a Kingsburg manufacturer of automous spraying systems for farming, said the company’s business surged after it won its first Top-10 award at the 2018 World Ag Expo and two others since.
